How We Are Funded

To date, the Foundation has awarded in excess of $600,000.00 in scholarships to Bangor Area School District graduating seniors and an excess of $10,000.00 in Teacher Grants.

With the generosity of our local residents, businesses and industries, the Foundation has been able to provide unique learning experiences that greatly enhance the quality of life of the Bangor Area School District students and community.

You can make a significant impact on the lives of young people by giving to the Foundation. Your gift touches not only the individual student, but impacts the lives of family members across generations. Your gift will help provide enhanced learning opportunities that otherwise might not be available.

To date, one of the most popular and flexible ways of supporting the Foundation has been through bequests, a gift made through a will or trust. With the help of an advisor, you can include language in your will or trust specifying a gift made to the Bangor Area School District Educational Foundation as part of your estate plan.
